Museum And Collections

Restoration & Preparation

My work in the collection focuses on restoring, documenting, and understanding biological specimens. This includes everything from cleaning and preparation to resolving inconsistencies in legacy records and reassociating mismatched elements.

Each specimen presents a different challenge, requiring both technical skill and careful observation.

Some images show specimens in various stages of preparation and may include natural decomposition. These images reflect standard museum preparation processes.

Reassociation & Identification

Collections don’t always stay organized over time. My work involves realigning specimens and records, even when it means revisiting and questioning earlier identifications.

Selected examples include specimen restoration, dentary reassociation, and identification reassessment cases.
